Insomnia! Woo!

Today is day two of my apparent no-sleep cycle. I slept well on Day 0, and yesterday was my first day with little sleep. I’ve been up, browsing and installing and updating things on the website. Nothing anyone would bother to notice but me: Changing PHP codes, and optimizing content, etc…

Earlier, I had an in-house hallucination. I think it may be derived of sleepiness, to be honest. I made 4 cups of tea in a Pyrex measuring cup. I then poured the tea into my 3.5 cup glassware mug. Therefore, left in the pyrex measuring cup I had .5 cups. Makes sense, no? Now, because I counted the bags (I love me mah white tea, om nom nom!), I knew I had used 2, and only had 2 remaining (.sad panda.). Oddly enough, when I came back to wash the measuring cup, it was full again.

All in all, not a bad hallucination to have. It did make me a little weary though, so I began looking up non-canine assistance animals. By the way, they are doggedly difficult to locate.

In realization, I cannot do a dog, mostly because I have an unexplainable fear of them. Even dogs I trust, I cannot truly trust. I feel like they’re always out to get me. Yes, I know it’s an unfounded fear, but I still have it, so shut up. :P

I am also allergic to alfalfa/hay/most danders/urine/dried, dusty fecal matter. That means no horses, pigs, or most other farm animals.

This leaves me with the following categories: Primates, Rodentia, Psittaciformes, Musteloidean, and Felidaens (That would be Monkeys/Apes, Squirrels/Rats/Sugar Gliders/Raccoons, Parrots/Macaws, Weasels/Skunks/Ferrets, and Cats. C’mon people, know your Zoology!).

Anyways, I can’t afford a Trained Parrot or a Capuchin Monkey, most rodents die too quickly, and the majority of the weasel family sleep most of the day. That sort of leaves me with a cat. Have you ever tried to train a cat? Nope, neither have I. I’m too afraid that by the end of the training, I’ll be using the litterbox!

At any rate, if anyone knows someone out here that is giving any non-canine service animals away, I would be grateful to know.

Leo’s site seems to be a flop (ineedtuition.org). He has not updated it in a long while. I was touring some themes, and wanted to upgrade it for him, but I don’t think he’d be interested. My ideas were to have it primarily focus on helping other students get loans, and then secondarily focus on donations (if you liked the work). Being as I’m unable to sleep, I was going to start regularly posting articles for helping students. I am still very upset with him, but he is my friend, and if I ever want to ascend this plane, I have to let things go.

In the next two weeks or so, look forward to a sit update. Maybe even a domain name change. Who knows?
