About the Crazy
This site, and all the items located in the within, pertain to my life and the events that shaped it – in one way or another.
Who the hell? Who the hell, indeed.
I have several screen names I go by, Namely: Dismal Moron, Lottboy, Jamiekins, Jamieboy/boi, jlott, Stupid Wiseman (It’s really old, OK??!?), and JamesTheLott.
My name is James Albert Lott. I am: Musician, Parent, Poet, Thespian, Drunk, Welsh, Irish, Ex-Military (Drill Instructor), Nerd, Pansexual, Weird, Pudgy, Sketchbook Artist, Coffee drinker, Schizophrenic, Tea Lover, Sugar-holic, Creative, Aquarius, Obsessive-Compulsive, Loyal, (co)Dependent, Romantic, Flirtatious, and many other things besides.
Why?
I was discharged from the US Military in 2005 for Schizophrenia, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, and Psychosis (NOS). Additionally, I have been diagnosed with Multiple-Personality Disorder, Bi-polar, and Depression. Due to these conditions, I often times have problems remember events that happened, exactly what happened, and/or differentiating between my delusions and reality.
My friends, and family have; over multiple years been very supportive, but I needed a way that I could keep all the information that they would tell me straight from what I was imagining. I figured that this website, was the perfect answer!
On the blog page, there are my memories, thoughts, ideas, and ramblings, complete as I remember them (and often times – very inaccurate).
Within each blog, there are wiki-links.These link to people, places, stories, events, and other items that carry importance to me. Eventually, every blog will also be a wiki as well.
It is done like this on purpose, so that anyone who thinks my version of things are incorrect, can create a login and post what really happened.
Why? Because part of schizophrenia is dealing with the fact that I do not live in the same reality as others; and oft-times I need to know the difference between the here & now versus my delusions.
This will not be limited to just memories, though.
Every person that I come into contact with will eventually have a wiki on this website. I will make them a page, and update it with their Bio (as I remember it) and other information.
If someone doesn’t like the information on their page, they can log in and correct the information as necessary. I will endeavor to not post things that are too personal without permission; However: If it directly pertains to me, then you can count on it being there.
Finally, in closing; I would like to ask that no one edit things that do not pertain to them. Each page has a history, and I reserve the right to modify, revert, and/or edit pages if I find (and verify) things in them that aren’t true.
Thank you!
